Matt brings over 8 years of financial analysis and investing experience to Melange Capital Partners, having held roles in restructuring consulting, alternative investments, mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance.

Prior to joining Melange, Matt was a Vice President at Storr Group, a private equity firm based in Austin, Texas. In this role, Matt led over 100 service platform acquisitions while managing diligence, valuation, negotiation and integration.

Prior to Storr Group, Matt was an Associate at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas in the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure group, where he played a key role in the execution of direct investments, co-investments and fund investments.

Prior to his time at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, Matt worked for the credit investment team at H.I.G. WhiteHorse. Before H.I.G. WhiteHorse, Matt began his career in the corporate finance & restructuring team at FTI Consulting.

Matt attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received his BBA in Finance. He is a CFA charterholder.
