Mr. Ramirez brings 15 years of petroleum engineering experience to Melange Capital Partners, having previously served in several roles ranging from operations to financial planning.

In 2016, Alex joined the Reservoir Engineering team at Parsley Energy (“PE”) to help develop and operate its acreage position in the Midland and Delaware Basins.  During his tenure, he provided Reservoir and Planning support for several major PE acquisitions and spearheaded various analytics and data initiatives, optimizing workflows and processes.

Alex began his career at Hilcorp where he worked several domestic offshore fields, later obtaining his Professional Petroleum Engineering license before joining Jones Energy in Austin.

Alex attended UT Austin where he earned a BS in Petroleum Engineering.
